Bookclub starts: Wicked

The Prologue is very interesting. The way I'm reading it, it appears as though the Lion and the Tin woodsman have a very close relationship, which is quite amusing to me. I can already tell I'm going to love reading Mr. Maguire's descriptions of things that are so familiar from my childhood. His description of the shoes, [They sparkled like yellow diamonds, and embers of blood, and thorny stars.] is perfect, I feel.
